LOXIOL are highly effective internal antistatic agents which were developed for a large number of standard and technical thermoplastics. They can also be used in rubbers. By using LOXIOL the surface resistance can be reduced considerably and the surface conductivity can be increased. The dosage conforms to the particular requirements upon the antistatic effect and is dependent on the polymer. The usual amount used is 0.2 – 1.5 %.
