Magnesium oxide is pure technical magnesium oxide. This fine white powder is highly reactive and has a low bulk density.In the rubber industry magnesium oxide is used as curing agent and acid scavenger in halogen containing elastomers and adhesives. Magnesium Trisilicate combines the properties of a filler material (silicate) with those of an acid scavenger (magnesium oxide).
