SILOX ZINC OXIDE is obtained by chemical precipitation. It is of high purity and virtually free of heavy metals. SILOX 2 C contains no spicular cristals which can have a negative effect in dynamically stressed vulcanisates. The particle structure is 100 % tuberous and results in an exceptional good flowability and easy dispersiblity within the rubber matrix. Therefore it is a preferred anorganic activator for sulphur vulcanisation of elastomer compounds.
